ibis Frankfurt Centrum

The Ibis Frankfurt Centrum is, as the name implies, in a very good location. It's walking distance to the river Main, major museums and the old town (if you are a good walker!). We wanted a hotel near the one where my husband's family was staying, and this was four minutes' walk down the road -- great. We were able to walk to the restaurant where we all had reservations for New Year's Eve, right on the river, and walk back while watching the locals set off a huge amount of fireworks (after none for 2 years due to COVID). The next morning, all we wanted was a cup of coffee, as we were taking the family out for brunch, and the folks in the breakfast room were nice enough to let us get a cappuccino each out of the coffee machine without charging us extra for them. The staff at the reception desk were friendly and helpful, and they gave us a room facing the back, so the fireworks noise didn't keep us from sleeping!

The location was close to the central railway station where I could access everything I needed. The staff were generally friendly and helpful. I could watch television in German and was generally undisturbed in my room.

The breakfast was outstanding in the hotel. In fact, it was the best hotel breakfast that I have ever experienced. The staff was also very nice and helpful. Furthermore, the hotel provided a perfect place for having a rest after a long and hard week of work.

I appreciated the clean beds. The view. They made sure I'll have the view and that I could check in early.. I got to be a member. That's why. Wonderful breakfast. Nice workers. Close to everything.

I could stay in the hotel when it was raining. The hotel is near to the railway station.
